1-888-707-5353 The FitCentric® NetAthlon® training software enables users of fitness machines to train alone or in groups or against virtual competitors on lifelike, immersive, and motivating 3D real-time virtual reality courses. Using a network (LAN) or the Internet, NetAthlon® permits athletes, using fitness machines to compete against other athletes on fitness machines located anywhere in the world! (Web Racing™). It comes with 3 courses for the fitness machine you choose. Briefly, this is our solution for taking fitness machines onto the Net with training and racing, voice-interaction, etc. FitCentric® Technologies, Inc. has developed dozens of virtual athletic courses for use with most brands of stationary bicycles, bike trainers, treadmills, stepper machines, climbers, rowing machines, X-country skiers, and elliptical trainers and more. NetAthlon™ even supports most commercially available VR glasses for a truly immersive training experience.
Exciting Ways to Experience NetAthlon:Solo Session - NetAthlon® gives individual users of fitness equipment a wide variety of realistic virtual training venues in which to exercise. In addition, any number of virtual training partners, called Pacers, can be setup by the user to train with or compete with - including yourself using old workouts.
Lan Session - By connecting two or more NetAthlon®" systems over a wired or wireless Local Area Network (LAN), users in a club or home environment can experience networked virtual athletic training without Internet access. Up to 16 athletes may participate in the same session.
Web Racing - Web Racing™ is the ultimate utilization of NetAthlon, allowing multiple users to train and compete in the same virtual athletic venue regardless of their physical location. The user logs on to a website that supports Web Racing, where a special link button activates NetAthlon and takes you into the Web Racing™ Lobby where you can setup a session or join one, on the course you pick.
Real-time 3D rendering of the entire virtual training environment, including representations of other users in the SAME virtual world and their actions, allows realistic training and competition in lifelike settings. Realistic training environments motivate and encourage fitness program compliance, as users are immersed in 3D multimedia worlds and real or fantasy courses.
NetAthlon® offers both 1st person view (straight ahead of participant) and 3rd person view (just behind participant). You can choose “Rowing Spectator Cam™”, which allows you to watch the race or event and focus on the leaders from different angles. NetAthlon® also supports VR glasses and headgear with 360 degree head tracking-- just like being outdoors and immersed in your exercise!

CD-ROM includes a user manual on disc with Acrobat reader you can download. Online help built-in to the program for both NetAthlon® and UltraCoach®FitCentric® provides support via FAQs, E-mail or fax, and EasyUpdate™ utility to make sure you have available the latest version of NetAthlon®.
